This week we meet Customer Success Manager Todd Gardner.

 

Todd, Customer Success Manager

Where are you from? What brought you to Barcelona?

I am from the USA. I previously worked in the plastics industry, then moved to Barcelona to be with my girlfriend. I love the weather, culture, history, architecture and people in Barcelona. I especially like the fact that we can go from the mountains to the Mediterranean in the same day. Oh, and of course the fuet and llonganissa. I like to play and watch sports. Specifically, golf, football (both American and European) and basketball.

Why did you join Cien?

I joined Cien for a couple of reasons. I wanted the chance to work at a startup that could have the potential to grow exponentially and I liked that Cien’s technology was based on AI. That’s something that is being implemented everywhere today.

Describe your role in three words.

Increasing Customer’s Productivity

What’s the best thing about your job?

Being able to see our customers grow their business and knowing that we helped them achieve their goals.

What have you learned since you’ve joined Cien?

I’ve learned a lot about the tech industry, AI, and machine learning.

In your opinion, are the developments in AI going to take our jobs?

Hopefully! I want to chill on a beach while AI does all my work for me.

How do you apply the Cien core values in your day to day work?

Daily Excellence – I try to do everything at the highest level and with 100% accuracy.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

The harder you work, the luckier you get.
