In this month’s Product Updates, we are highlighting major advancements across Cien.
Client Agentic Chat, Agent Skills, Growth Plans, GTM Suite Reports, MCP Support, Cien Connect, and the TrueAI Platform.

1. Cien Agentic: Now an MCP Server

• Cien Agentic can now act as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, making Cien capabilities available directly within external AI applications and workflows.
• Authorized users can connect to Cien from platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Scout, and other MCP-compatible applications to run Cien agents and workflows, access analytics and saved queries, and continue existing conversations without opening the Cien application.
• Cien also added secure MCP access for company configuration, Calibration, Growth Plans, and platform administration, while maintaining the same permissions, company context, and audit controls used across the platform. This extends Cien intelligence beyond the Cien application and makes it available within broader enterprise AI workflows.

2. Growth Plans 

• Growth Plans now automatically calculate analysis-period bookings when the required dates and business scope are available. We also improved benchmark consistency, driver analysis, influencer rankings, scan completion, and activation handling.
• Users can now complete the full Growth Plan lifecycle through MCP, including Scan, Design, approval, activation, and Realization, while working with the same persisted plan state and permissions used inside Cien.

3. Agent Skills, Query Validation & Governance

• A new Power BI Query Preflight Skill validates the company, dataset, semantic model, measures, relationships, filters, and expected result size before governed saved queries or custom DAX are executed.
• This helps agents use verified metrics and model relationships instead of relying on unsupported assumptions, while adding stronger controls around retries and oversized query results.
• We also expanded Agentic governance with structured Model Definitions, clearer evaluation progress, and a new Publish Log for reviewing staging changes, publishing configuration, and restoring earlier or deleted versions.

4. GTM Suite & TrueAI Platform

• Lead and account deduplication has been upgraded, providing more scalable matching and stronger use of deterministic identifiers, geography, company relationships, and name signals.
• The upgrade also improves how conflicting records are handled, supporting better consolidation across multiple CRM instances and more accurate duplicate grouping.

5. Cien Connect & Custom Partner Branding

• The Cien Connect App now supports partner co-branding. Organizations can now display custom logos directly within the application.

6. Chat & User Experience

• Primary chat sessions now kick off with interactive onboarding guidance (“Let’s get started!”), and refined routing logic for diagnostic vs. assessment tasks.
